Shihan Bernie Fritz
Shihan Bernie Fritz is National Director for Independent Karate Schools of America. He is a 9th degree black belt and founder of Freestyle United Arts, a martial arts system that incorporates elements of Tae Kwon Do, Pentjak Silat, Tai-Chi, Kyusho Jitsu and other arts. Shihan Fritz runs Pardeeville Martial Arts in Pardeeville, Wisconsin. He has recently expanded the program to include stress management and health and fitness.

A popular seminar instructor, Shihan Fritz teaches self-defense, concepts of Freestyle United Arts, sparring strategies, martial arts philosophy, stress management and does motivational speaking. He has taught seminars throughout the United States and traveled to Denmark to teach at Shihan Kurt Orum's Dai Ki Haku Close Combat club.

Thirty years in the martial arts have brought him much success. Shihan Fritz has been inducted into Action Martial Arts Hall of Fame and is a 3 time inductee into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame. He has been featured in Black Belt magazine and in the book "Everyday Warriors", written by Ruth Hunter and published by Turtle Press. The time he spent in tournament competition brought trophies and respect from well known competitors. His greatest achievement is the number of people he has touched through his love of teaching martial arts.

Master Chapman
I am a National Director. Below is from my web page:
In 1985 Master Chapman joined the Independent Karate Schools of
America (IKSA), a worldwide support and sanctioning organization
allowing the dojo to be chartered by Master Floyd Burk, the founder
of the IKSA. Master Chapman serves as the National Director of the
IKSA and is the Director of the IKSA Annual Seminar. The IKSA Annual Seminar is a worldwide gathering of member schools and is hosted annually by the American Karate Academy.

Sensei Chapman is recognized as a “Grand Master”, a member of the IKSA “Society of Soke” (the founder of his style), and has the title of “Hanshi.”

Grand Master Chapman began training in the Martial Arts in 1981 and started teaching in 1983. In 1994 Sensei Chapman founded the American Karate Academy in Franklin, TN. The dojo affiliated with the Concord Road YMCA in August 2001.

Master Chapman is a member of the teaching staff at the world famous Karate College Camp (held annually at Radford University, Radford, VA). Sensei teaches sparring techniques and strategies at the camp. The staff includes such legends as Bill “Superfoot” Wallace, Joe Lewis, Renzo Gracie and Dr. Jerry Beasley.

Sensei was honored on July 30th, 2004 when he was inducted into the United States Hall of Fame.

Master Chapman is a husband to Rennae and a father of 3 children. He has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Education degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He has taught for 30 years at Franklin High School.

Master Chapman’s hunger for all things “martial arts” powers his
daily training ethic and he continues to grow as a martial artist
through guidance from his Sensei, Grand Master Floyd Burk, 9th Dan, (9th degree Black belt).

 
Master Lisa Heitke
Master Lisa Heitke is Administrative Director for Independent Karate Schools of America. She holds the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt in Freestyle United Arts and has been pursuing knowledge and personal growth in the martial arts since 1984. Her training includes Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi Chuan, Aikido, Archipelago Combatives and Kyusho Jitsu. Master Heitke teaches Freestyle United Arts at Pardeeville Martial Arts in Pardeeville, Wisconsin along with Grandmaster Bernie Fritz. She also teaches self-defense seminars for men, women and children. Master Heitke has been inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame as "Outstanding Female Martial Artist" and "Master Instructor of the Year.
