IKSA Turns 35  4/4/17  (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
In 1982 Master Floyd Burk and several other like-minded martial artists formed the IKSA. They wanted a non-political organization for traditional instructors and for those of newer systems. The IKSA is still going strong today with more than 40 active schools. The organization hosts a National Training Seminar each September. Although there have been many changes and improvements the IKSA is still there to give "roots" and "wings" to instructors across the world. Happy Birthday IKSA!

Nearly 100 participants attended the 23rd Annual NTS held in Brentwood, TN in September. The 24th NTS will be held during the last weekend in September 2018 and will feature Superfoot Wallace.

In Memorium  7/21/18  (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
The IKSA sadly announces the passing of Grandmaster Bernie Fritz. GM Fritz practiced and taught the martial arts for more than 40 years. He was a member of the IKSA for 30 years. In 1999 he was appointed a National Co-Director of the IKSA. He was dedicated to his students and the IKSA. He was an instructor and mentor to Master Burk and Master Chapman. But more importantly he was their friend. When informed of his passing GM Jerry Beasley stated "Bernie was a true gentleman and a legendary fighter in his time. He will be missed!" Please keep Janet, his wife of 56 years, and his family and students in your thoughts and prayers.
